Ok so saying beef au jus is actually harder for me than actually making this dish! It was so easy and delish!
Ingredients:
3-4lb rump roast (I used chuck and it came out great too)
1 can beef broth
1 dark beer
1 package of onion soup mix (or a can would probably work too)
I seasoned the meat with salt, pepper, garlic, and red pepper flakes and then combined the ingredients into my slower cooker on high for about 7 hours.
I got crusty bread which I toasted with slices of provolone cheese, add the meat, and used the remainder of the liquid in the crock for dipping. I also added a dash of horseradish before serving. Totally delicious and will make again!
